Wargods Online Trading Card Game (TCG)

Cordova, TN, United States, 12/14/2009 – The latest addition to the Wargods Online franchise, the Wargods Trading Card Game (TCG) starter kit, is now available.

Epic battles will be fought and champions will emerge in the Wargods Trading Card Game. Released by Enigma Games, Inc. the starter kit contains 48 warrior cards, game rules and a 6-sided die.

The TCG cards are actual player-created characters from the Wargods Online role playing game (RPG). As social gamers build their characters in Wargods Online, they have a chance to graduate into the Wargods TCG.

Rules for Wargods Trading Card Game were created by a competitive card game champion. Gameplay is 4 vs. 4. The 12 Classes and 4 Guilds allow for a wide variety of strategic team combinations, and those with powerful guild abilities can turn the tide of a battle. To advance to an elite player, you need to experiment with warrior combinations, have a strong combat strategy, and experience a little luck.

“Expanding the Wargods universe into the Trading Card Game industry is just the beginning for this franchise,” said Enigma Games President and CEO, Xavier Moore. “We have a solid strategy to become a major competitor in the near future.”

Wargods Online is a free online rpg popular with over 50,000 social gamers on Facebook and MySpace. A mobile version will be added soon for BlackBerry, iPhone and Windows Mobile.

The Wargods TCG starter kit (wargods-tcg.com) is $11.95, and can be purchased online.

The cards are printed by Superior Pod (superiorpod.com).

Urban Rivals

Urban Rivals is a multiplayer game with over a hundred characters to discover, collect and develop by fighting live combats against other players.

You can decide your own fate. You can choose to have fight after fight to rise up in the rankings and become the world’s best player. You can also become a great trader and try to get the complete collection, or even just play for fun with your friends with your favorite characters. When you register, we’ll give you your first pack of 8 characters free of charge. You can then add to your collection by trading or purchasing packs from the Shop.

To level up your characters, you have to challenge other players. After each fight, your characters will earn XP and become progressively stronger, to the point where they can unlock special abilities and bonuses! Each time one of your characters levels up, he’ll get a new look.

The Fights

At the beginning of each fight, 4 characters are randomly selected from your Deck. The fight is made up of 4 rounds. At the start of each round, you and your opponent each select a character. If your character wins the round, he will reduce the life of your opponent by the number of damage (D) indicated on his card.

Each player starts with 12 life points (LP). The winner is the one with the most life points at the end of the 4 rounds, or sooner if there is a K.O. In a round, it’s the Attack (ATK) of the characters that represents your chances of winning. If your character has an Attack of 10 and your opponent has an Attack of 5, it means that you have 10 chances of 15 to win, versus only 5 of 15 for your opponent.

The Attack is calculated by multiplying the Power (P) stat of your character by the number of Pillz you decide to spend on him. Each player starts with 12 Pillz to use over the four rounds.

Character Abilities and Bonuses

Many fighters from Clint City have special abilities. So to fine tune your strategy and build a mega team, it’s important to know what you can and cannot do with these abilities.

Activating Abilities
When a character has an ability, you do not need to use Pillz or make any adjustments when you play that character in order to activate the ability. However, some abilities require special conditions to be effective. For example, with Courage the character must be played first, and with Poison the character must win his round.

The Leaders stand apart from the rest of the characters in Urban Rivals. They do not belong to any clans and they all have very powerful abilities that can change at the end of a fight. Remember that if you have two Leaders in your team during a fight, their abilities will cancel each other out, even if they are the same two Leaders. The changes caused by the Leaders’ abilities can be stacked alongside Clan Bonuses and Character Abilities.

Battle winnings and Credits

Battle Points
After each fight, depending on the outcome, you’ll receive battle points. These points allow you to upgrade your player level and reach higher rankings. You earn more points when fighting against a player whose ranking is above yours, if one of your characters defeats a higher level opponent or level up after the fight. A bonus is given if you have pillz remaining after you’ve inflicted a KO on your opponent.

XP (experience)
Your characters also receive experience after each fight, allowing them to level up and become stronger. Current level is displayed on the character’s card with yellow stars. The total number of stars shows the maximum level. Characters earn more XP when fighting characters at higher level and when you win the game (with a bonus if you manage to inflict a K.0 on your opponent).

Your Level
Your level is based on your current number of battle points. As you advance each level will be more difficult to complete than the last.
When you reach Level 5, you can join a Guild.
When you reach Level 10, you can create your own Guild and play in “Danger Zone” room.
When you reach Level 12, you can play in the “Dark Corners” room.
When you reach Level 15, you can play in ELO mode.

To sell and buy characters with other players on the market, you need to use Clintz. There are 2 ways to get Clintz: fighting and selling your characters.

In order to obtain characters quicly to complete a clan or your collection, the easiest and simplest way is to visit the shop and purchase credits (SMS, Credit Card). 40 credits will cost you ?2 ($2). One Booster pack costs 20 credits and contains 3 characters. You can choose from 4 different Booster packs (Action, Danger, Cool Attitude, New Blood) with characters from 4 clans inside of each. If you are a minor, ask your parents’ permission before buying credits.
