Through the deployment of version 2.0 of Aion in Korea, NCsoft has partnered with the Wonder Girls to hold an MMO in its series of events around the Korean pop group.

Unusual. On the emplacement of the 2.0 patch Aion in Korea on test servers, NCsoft has clearly associated with the Wonder Girls to promote the new version of its game

This group of girls, champion of Korean pop, was apparently the center of a series of events inside the MMORPG from NCsoft: for the occasion, three quests “Wonder Girls” were included in the game, and a plethora outfits and hairstyles inspired the look of the five singers bounce.

Also anecdotal though that movie (it is unclear when, and even if it is exported to Western Aion servers), the presence of Wonder Girls in the MMO probably tends to show that online gaming continues to s’ freed from its images of “leisure geeks” to touch the spheres increasingly public.
